Mission

To prepare the next generation of biomedical engineers for service lives as effective, knowledgeable and ethical leaders in the institutional, professional and academic communities, who understand the human body as an integrated system with quantitative engineering analysis, and can design better therapeutic strategies and devices using this understanding, in a collaborative, dynamic, free and open education and research environment based on engineering, science and health services; To serve society by advancing the frontiers of biomedical engineering research in close collaboration with multidisciplinary researchers and health and engineering stakeholders, creating new knowledge for the improvement of human health, enabling and developing innovative and clinically translatable biomedical technologies that combine advanced technologies with deep knowledge in physiology, and using these developments to create new tools to improve human health.
